We're Reading the Bible in One Year!
The Bible is the story of God's people. It is filled with adventure, suspense, love, joy, sorrow, war, peace, broken relationships, and relationships that are restored.
As we read scripture, we find one example after another of how God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. But does a book written thousands of years ago have relevance to you and me today? Yes!
In 2021, we will spend time as a church walking through
the entire Bible. Each day will have passages to read and reflect on. While there are a number of different ways to read the Bible, we will be doing it
in a chronological way. Biblical scholars have examined scripture and determined the order of events chronologically. (Wait, you mean the Bible didn't happen in the order of Genesis to Revelation?!?) For example, in the first three weeks of January, we will read the book of Genesis...with periodic dives into the book of 1 Chronicles.
